Multisuns Corp, a leading developer and manufacturer of voice logging solutions and VoIP communication equipment, today announced the release of MRD, a microphone that is specially designed for recording indoor voices and environmental sounds. The MRD's cardioid microphone reinforces short-distance sounds within it coverage area while attenuating out of range sounds. The MRD used with a voice logger provides high quality sound capturing and monitoring for room and countertop recording.

The MRD's unobtrusive and rugged die-cast design provides custom clearance counters, banks, hospitals and other mission specific organizations a sturdy and reliable sound recording device. When the MRD is connected to a Multisuns multi-channel voice logger live monitoring can be conducted behind closed doors. The device can also be placed in hallways or any other desirable indoor space for around-the-clock recording.

Security cameras are in use in many facilities today to thwart trouble, but few record the complete actual event as it unfolds. Mount the MRD on a wall nearby the camera to capture sounds that compliment the video. This can provide additional insight to an event occurring inside and outside the camera viewing area.

The MRD is equipped with a soft touch on/off switch and an LED indicator. An optional DTMF generator, such as Multisuns TC-100P, can be used in conjunction with the MRD and voice logger. Thus, allowing the user to tag an ID to the audio recording for easy grouping or retrieval purposes.

The MRD microphone comes in two models. The MRD-01 fits to any of voice logger supporting POTS interface and MRD-02 fits specifically the Multisuns MicroLog TCR-1000 personal voice logger.
